On Prayer

A friend once told me that the hardest part about playing the clarinet was picking the darn thing up.
The hardest part about saying our prayers is... getting down on our knees.  It seems that that one thing is so difficult!  We have a desire to pray, we know we should be praying, but when it comes to that moment, we stop and hesitate.

It is during these moments that we should take a breath, draw on our courage of faith and tell ourselves that all we need to do is fall to our  knees.  If we can take that small action in that one moment, the rest is easy.

Do not let hesitation discourage you from accomplishing this one little act of reverence.
